Clean your Asics sneakers in 4 simple steps!

Step 1

To wash your Asics, you'll need some mild detergent or clothing-safe soap, a soft brush or toothbrush, a sponge, paper towels and warm water.

Remove the laces and insole, and use a dry paper towel to clean the upper of your sneakers.

Step 2

Brush the outsole with a little soap and water, then rinse with a damp sponge or cloth.

To clean the upper, follow the instructions below, according to their material:

Fabric/Canvas: Wash your shoes with a sponge with soapy water, but do not immerse them in water.

Suede/Nubuck: Use special products, as soap can damage them.

Step 3

Wash the insole with a little soapy water, but be careful not to get it soaked, while the laces can be cleaned with soap and a brush under running water.

Step 4

Let your shoes dry naturally at room temperature, and never under the sun or near a heater, and wear them again once they're completely dry.

Extra notes for extra freshness

• Once your Asics sneakers are dry, you can put a small amount of baking soda on the inside of the shoes, to absorb moisture and odors.

• Never put your running shoes in the washing machine to prevent them from wearing out, and avoid the dryer, heaters and exposure to the sun, as the heat can damage their shape.

• Don't use bleach or harsh chemicals.
